After watching The Possession, this scene kept on popping up in my mind as being incredibly creepy, so much so that I thought it would make for a fun drawing. Those eyes!

Luckily, I was able to find a screen shot of it to use as reference online, and went from there. Still a work in progress.

I came back from a trip to the Calgary Stampede a couple of weeks ago, and I seem to have caught the cowboy bug. Its all I can think of drawing right now!

What is this madness?

It seems like Blogger has completely changed, its madness. One day you're browsing blog feeds on the internet, the next you're dropped into a new world feeling scared and confused. I'm slowly adjusting to the change.....

The last few months have been busy at work, which no surprise, has left me with little time to work on my blog and comic. I'm desperately trying to get back into a routine again, nothing leaves you more artistically unfulfilled than skipping out on your own personal projects.

I've been so busy the last few weeks that I haven't had a chance to do much drawing, and the drawings that I have done are definitely not my best (why can't a draw feet and hands all of a sudden..GAH!!!!).

I would love to draw a fight sequence for a comic, so i've been playing with proportions and poses with Super Fat Rat to get a feel for it. When I get the chance, I'm going to sit down with my sketchbook and watch some kung fu flicks.

On top of the freelance work, i've taken up a temporary retail job to keep me busy. This is pretty much how I felt yesterday when I got home, the people I work with are awesome, but the customers make you question your very existence and sanity.
