Thelorefactory.com! Grand opening!!

Today is the grand opening of my new website, it will host the new and continuing adventures of the Super Fat Rat comics, as well as some bonus comics (coming soon!).

I will continue to update this blog of course with doodles and news of upcoming events.

I also should announce that I will be sharing an artist alley table at Hal-Con with the very talented C.Cameron. I believe we will be under the name Blot and Madsusie, so please drop by if you plan on going this year!

I still have a lot of work to do, but its ramping up to be a great year!!

The Possession - WIP

After watching The Possession, this scene kept on popping up in my mind as being incredibly creepy, so much so that I thought it would make for a fun drawing. Those eyes!

Luckily, I was able to find a screen shot of it to use as reference online, and went from there. Still a work in progress.

Cartoon pottery painting!

My friends and I caught the pottery painting bug, and now I have a brand spanking new cookie jar with Spongebob! That screenshot with him and Patrick kills me every time, so I couldn't resist painting it.

The plate with a piratey Mandy from Billy and Mandy unfortunately was dropped during a move, but at least I still have a picture.

Hello once again!!

I've decided to stop cluttering my blog with all my comic pages, and I've moved them to a website for better navigation.

Blue sisters

I haven't forgotten the blog at all, I swear! I've been doing a lot of painting lately to push myself and experiment a little, but most of it isn't worth scanning at this point. This is the only picture I've liked so far, I used a picture of my sister and I and kinda ran with it in a weird artsy fartsy way...or at least attempted to.

:(

It seems like some jerk has stolen a piece of artwork of mine from Deviantart, and is selling it on Ebay as a mousepad. I never thought that I would have to watermark my pictures, but I see that my signature is not enough (as it can easily be cropped as you can see). Someone at work also suggested I only upload low rez pictures, which is probably what I will do from now on.

UPDATE - I checked this afternoon and luckily the listing has been taken down, thank goodness.

I am far from being a 3D expert

This is a parody dance of Holly Dolly's version of Leva's polka. The rig kept on blowing up or inverting on itself whenever I tried extreme movements, so I really couldn't do too much with him.

This animation is horrible, so the only reason why I uploaded this video is to hopefully provide some laughs.

(UPDATE: I don't know how I got 2000+ hits on this, no clue at all. Also, my mom thought the video was so cool that she tried imitating the dance. It was the most horrifying experience of my life.)

Maya glitches

My final 3d project was finished, but it got corrupted the night before it was due. What a disaster.

Backgrounds

Experimental animation in Photoshop

This was an animation I made for Experimental class last year. I was trying to go for the look that Katie and Orby had, except a little darker, and I used Photoshop and Imageready to get the blend frame by frame effect. Theres not a lot of animation in it, but it turned out well considering it was photoshop.
